Australian Clinical Labs (Clinical Labs) was formed by the separation of Healthscope’s pathology business into a stand-alone entity in 2015 and renamed Clinical Labs. In October 2016, Clinical Labs acquired St John of God Pathology, to become the third largest pathology provider in Australia. Clinical Labs is owned by Crescent Capital Partners, one of Australia’s most successful private equity companies that was established in 2000.
